Students are entitled to apply for a refund for all or part of the tuition fees prior to the designated date and should be responsible for all other costs incurred due to the course adjustment or withdrawal. This includes fess pertaining to textbooks, accommodations, visa, etc. The refund policy for course withdrawal is as follows:
If a student applies for a refund within 5 workings days after payment is credited to the designated account and prior to the first day of school, they can have 100% of their payment refunded. If a student applies for a refund for canceling part of their courses, they can receive a 100% of the difference stipulated in the agreement. Specific amounts of refunds will be provided based on the following deadlines:
(1) On and before May 15, 2019:
A full refund of the total amount stipulated in the agreement will be reimbursed for the cancellation of all courses. A refund form must be submitted for a full reimbursement.
(2) From May 16, 2019 to the registration day:
If you apply for a refund for the cancellation of courses, the application fee and administration fee are non-refundable. 30% of the total agreement shall be deducted as a penalty for breaching the agreement, while the reaming amount of tuition will be refunded. If you apply for a refund for the cancellation for some of the courses, the application fee and administration fee are non-refundable. 30% of the total agreement shall be deducted as a penalty for breaching the agreement, and the rest of the of the tuition for the cancelled course will be refunded.
(3) Within the first three school days:
Both the application and administration fees will not be refunded for the cancellation of all courses. 30% of the total agreement shall be deducted as a penalty for the breach of agreement. The 3 days’ worth of tuition fee will be deducted, while the rest of the tuition will be refunded. Both the application and administrative fees will be deducted for the canceled course(s), while the rest of the corresponding tuition shall be refunded.
(4) Starting from the 4th day of summer session:
By the above date, students can only withdraw from all their courses and not individual course. Withdrawal at this stage is either all the courses or none. When students apply to withdraw from the summer session, both the application and administrative fees are non-refundable and 30% of the total amount of the agreement shall be deducted as a penalty for breaching the agreement. A deduction of the tuition fee shall be made according to the number hours the student has already attended, while the rest of the tuition shall be refunded.
* The difference is the amount of tuition of all selected courses minus the amount of tuition after one has canceled the courses.
